What does the Crested Butte Rotary Club really do?
Of course, many residents and visitors are familiar with our sole fundraising event – the annual Rubber Duckie Race. This fundraiser raises over $40,000 from the Duckie Race proceeds. But, did you know about these great programs we support every year?

 The Community Need is Growing
The Duckie Race is not enough – the youth in our community need our support and we need to increase our scholarship fund to stay in step with the increasing student population. Twenty students was once a large graduating class while the graduating class of 2014 was well over forty students, and there were over seventy students in the 3rd grade.

Rotary has been dedicated to the idea of service for more than 100 years. The collective leadership and expertise of our 1.2 million members helps us tackle some of the world’s biggest challenges, locally and globally. We are united by common values and vision for the future as we sharpen our focus with targeted specific causes that will reach communities most in need.

The Crested Butte / Mt. Crested Butte Rotary Club is proud to be celebrating 25 Years of “Service Above Self”. Our efforts allow us to give back to many people in the local community and around the world. We appreciate your financial support which in turn helps us continue to help others.

The Crested Butte Rotary Fund is a component fund of the Community Foundation of the Gunnison Valley
